Clean Up After Your Pets
Motion Graphic
Cleaning up after your pets is not only common courtesy but also protects the environment and others. As stated by the Associated Veterinary Medical Center, many mistake their pet’s waste as being fertilizer when in actuality, they can contain bacteria and parasites that harm our natural surroundings and can be transmitted to humans and pets.
COVID-19: Wear a Mask
Poster
Coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads mainly from person to person through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes, talks, or raises their voice. These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs. Everyone is at risk of getting COVID-19, and not all individuals with the virus show symptoms. Maintaining a minimum distance of about six feet, and covering your mouth and nose with a mask when around others is highly recommended and essential in reducing the spread of the virus.
Two concept designs were created for the Innovation Center for Design Excellence (ICDE) with the intent of encouraging others to wear a mask during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Teen Pregnancy Prevention
Poster
Pregnancy and birth are significant contributors to high school dropout rates among girls. Only about 50% of teen mothers receive a high school diploma by 22 years of age, whereas approximately 90% of women who do not give birth during their adolescence graduate from high school. Teen pregnancy and childbearing bring substantial social and economic costs through immediate and long-term impacts on teen parents and their children.
Two different illustrations and concepts that convey a simple by direct message of bringing awareness towards preventing teen pregnancies by using contraceptives.
